Welcome to
Dr. Wu Li Soft's page
The modern Labradoodle
can have three types of coat, one at a time I might say.
These three distinct
coats are fluffy, curly and smooth. What happens inside these coats is
what makes a Labradoodle special. We at the Centre for Canine Studies have
rated the following characteristics in order of importance:
A) Good temperament
B) Soundness
C) Intelligence
And finally coat type.
Ideally in time the
British Labradoodle will have either a fluffy or curly non-shedding coat,
but it is imperative that this standardisation not be achieved at the
expense of A, B and C. So far the feed back from allergy suffers has been
most positive. Every effort has been made to place fluffy and curly pups
with such families. However, an on-going study suggests that it may not be
that shedding is the main problem, but the production of “dander” or
dandruff that can cause an adverse reaction. All coat types appear to
produce little or no dandruff in the Labradoodle. Your experiences are
always welcome to help further this research.
